MEMcap™ capsule filters are self-contained, single-use filtration devices engineered for sterilizing-grade and bioburden-reduction applications in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and life-science manufacturing. Each capsule integrates a pleated membrane element within a robust polypropylene housing — eliminating the need for stainless steel housings, cleaning cycles, and cleaning validation.
Available in dual-layer PES, PTFE, Nylon, Glass Fibre, and PP membrane configurations across a full range of pore sizes (0.1 µm to 5 µm) and 2.5", 5", 10", 20", and 30" formats, MEMcap™ capsules deliver high flow rates, low extractables, and consistent lot-to-lot performance.
Every MEMcap™ device is 100% integrity tested, gamma-sterilizable or autoclavable, and supported by comprehensive validation documentation aligned to ASTM F838, USP <88> Class VI, USP <665>/<1665>, and PDA TR 26/40 requirements.
